Winter Walk - Saturday 2nd May - Roys Peak
Date : Saturday, 2nd May Destination : Roys Peak (1578m) Meeting Place: Meet at 8.30am at the lakefront carpark just south of the intersection of McDougall St with the lakefront road. Details : We will be taking the "locals track" up to Roys Peak so should be able to avoid the crowds. This involves a steep ascent from the road along the fence line and then we follow the ridge up to the summit. Bring : lunch, water, thermos, sturdy footwear, weather-wise clothing, and petrol donation. Transport Cost : $2 Leader : Jane James ( uctcbootprints@gmail.com )
