Destination: Bendigo Kanuka Loop Track
Meeting Place: Meet at 8.30 am at the lakefront car park just south of the intersection of McDougall St with the lakefront road.
Details: We will drive to the Tarras intersection, and turn right. Then turn left into Bendigo Loop Road and then up into Blue Mines Road.
We will walk steadily uphill to a rocky outcrop for lunch, with stunning views over the Upper Clutha Valley.
After lunch we will complete the loop.
An easy trip however after todays rain the track will be slippery in places so wear solid footwear and carry sticks.
Hopefully there will be time for a coffee at Tarras at the end of the trip.
