Destination: Roys Peak (1578m)
Meeting Place: Meet at 8.30am at the lakefront carpark just south of the intersection of McDougall St with the lakefront road.
Details: We will be taking the "locals track" up to Roys Peak so should be able to avoid the crowds. This involves a steep ascent from the road along the fence line and then we follow the ridge up to the summit.
Bring: lunch, water, thermos, sturdy footwear, weather-wise clothing, and petrol donation.
