Calling for UCTC volunteers who want a fun day at the Snow Farm!!
The ‘Merino Muster’ is a Worldloppet cross country ski race which is held at the Snow Farm every year. Competitors come from all over the world along with our local contenders.
The tramping club is hosting two drink and food stations at Meadow and Reid huts.
The plan is to go out to Meadow Hut at about 2 pm on Friday 21 August, as a group. You can snowshoe or ski and enjoy a free and social night at the hut, with fellow members.
Early next morning we set up a drink station outside Meadow Hut and one up the hill at Reid Hut. Your role is to hand out drinks/food and cheer on the competitors in the race.
We then pack up and head back to base.
