Meet at 9.00 a.m. at the lakeside car park at the foot of McDougall St. Alternatively, meet at 9.45 a.m. approximately 50m up Clark Rd, which is on the Pisa Range side of SH6 just opposite Pisa Moorings. Please text Gail (0226208542) if you intend to meet up at Clark Road.
The 10 km loop climbs a land-rover track from Clark Road onto the river terraces above Lake Dunstan and then heads south to join the 45 Degree Parallel Track. After reaching Sugar Loaf (304m), we will head back down Chinaman Gully to Lowburn and walk along the lakeside trail to Pisa Moorings. The track offers great views over Lake Dunstan and towards Leaning Rock.
